Bill Fitzgerald, a native of Yonkers, NY, graduated from the United State Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering. After completing the rigorous nuclear power program, he spent 5 years on active duty as an officer in the submarine force. His time was utilized in a shipyard as well as on several deployments to the Western Pacific in roles vital to national security. His billets included Chemical & Radiological Controls Officer, Electrical Officer and Assistant Weapons officer.

After leaving active duty in 2007, Bill started his career with Orion International Consulting Group as a Recruiter, helping transitioning veterans find careers in Engineering, Operations and Professional Sales. Since 2009, Bill has worked as an Executive Recruiter for Orion Engineering Solutions where he identifies key engineering talent for employers in the Western US.
